VSP Individual Vision Plans
VSP Individual Vision Plans provide the same/similar vision coverage employers offer and are a great solution for patients who had VSP group coverage and want to keep their VSP Network Doctor. Individual Vision Plans are available to individuals and their families who don’t have access to vision coverage through their employer, are self-employed or freelancers, work part time, or are out of work.
These plans are also a great solution for retirees and those nearing retirement since Medicare doesn’t cover routine eye exams for eyeglasses or contact lenses.
There are various VSP Individual Vision Plans available. Plans starting under $17 a month (Note: Annual premium can be paid in 12 monthly payments). Plan options and costs vary by state. Plans cover eye exams, lenses, frames, contacts, and more.
