Jeffrey Moon, M.D.

Dr. Jeffrey Moon is a board-certified ophthalmologist and highly experienced refractive surgeon dedicated to helping patients achieve visual freedom. A proud graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine, Dr. Moon has performed over 3,000 refractive procedures throughout his career. Having served as the Chief of Refractive Surgery within the U.S. military health system, he has extensive experience utilizing advanced implantable lens technologies—including the EVO ICL—to meet the visual demands of active-duty personnel, athletes, and professionals who require peak physical performance.

What sets Dr. Moon apart is his deep personal connection to the procedures he performs. Having undergone refractive surgery himself, he understands the patient’s journey firsthand, from the initial consultation to the life-changing moment of clear vision. This personal perspective drives his compassionate, patient-first approach, ensuring every patient receives a customized treatment plan tailored to their unique lifestyle and visual goals.

Now practicing locally with Associated Eye Care, Dr. Moon is thrilled to bring his premier refractive expertise to Toledo, Bowling Green, and the surrounding communities. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, two daughters, and their yellow lab, and can often be found hiking, cycling, running, or playing the piano.
